DHALL RAITHA

INGREDIENTS
  1. URAD DHALL POWDER ---1 CUP
  2. YOGURT -----1 CUP (OR)
  3. CURD ----2 CUPS.
  4. COCONUT(GRATED)---4 TSP
  5. JEERA ----1 TSP
  6. GREEN CHILLY(CHOPPED) ----1 NO
  7. SALT' TO TASTE.
  8. OIL ----1 TSP
  9. ONION, CORIANDER LEAVES ----EACH 2 TSP (CHOPPED)
    OPTIONAL.


PREPARATION

FRY THE URAD DHALL TILL LIGHT GOLDEN COLOUR,
MAKE A NICE POWDER AND KEEP ASIDE.CURD SHOULD BE VERY THICK.
HEAT OIL,ADD MUSTARD SEEDS,JEERA ,CHILLI.
ONION,CHOPPED CARROT,COCONUT AND SALT.

MIX WITH CURD SLOWLY WITHOUT LUMPS ,STIR-WELL.WAIT FOR 10 MINS
REFRIGEATE. AND SERVE CHILL.
INSTEAD OF CARROT,WE MAY ADD CHOPPED MANGOS.
GOOD SIDE DISH FOR VATRAL KUZHAMBU
GARNISH WITH CHOPPED CORIANDER.
