- URAD DHALL POWDER ---1 CUP
- YOGURT -----1 CUP (OR)
- CURD ----2 CUPS.
- COCONUT(GRATED)---4 TSP
- JEERA ----1 TSP
- GREEN CHILLY(CHOPPED) ----1 NO
- SALT' TO TASTE.
- OIL ----1 TSP
- ONION, CORIANDER LEAVES ----EACH 2 TSP (CHOPPED)
OPTIONAL.
PREPARATION
FRY THE URAD DHALL TILL LIGHT GOLDEN COLOUR,
MAKE A NICE POWDER AND KEEP ASIDE.CURD SHOULD BE VERY THICK.
HEAT OIL,ADD MUSTARD SEEDS,JEERA ,CHILLI.
ONION,CHOPPED CARROT,COCONUT AND SALT.
MIX WITH CURD SLOWLY WITHOUT LUMPS ,STIR-WELL.WAIT FOR 10 MINS
REFRIGEATE. AND SERVE CHILL.
INSTEAD OF CARROT,WE MAY ADD CHOPPED MANGOS.
GOOD SIDE DISH FOR VATRAL KUZHAMBU
GARNISH WITH CHOPPED CORIANDER.
