Sesame-jaggery powder rice
You can choose white (or)black sesame for this powder.
It is highly rich in iron,very important for boys particularly
in their teen-age.instead of mixing with rice,add gheemake it a ball (LADDU) ,eat as a snacks.
INGREDIENTS:
sesame (1cup)
bengal gram(2 tsp)
green peas(4 tsp)
jaggery -1cup
cashew nuts(2 tsp)
ground nuts(2tsp)
cardamom ---4nos
coriander seeds(4tsp)
ghee to taste
PREPARATION:
Clean the sesame fry in a empty kadai powder it with grated jaggery.
For prepare sesame-jaggery rice spread 2 cups boiled rice in plate , fry nuts, orad dhall,bengal gram green peas, cashew nuts decorate with nuts,grated carrots (optional).
