curry leaves


Curry leaves powder
Generally we use curry-leaves for flavour.it has so many medicial values
it contains  IRON and vitamin"A". It helps in improving our eye sight power. It is very good for our health. if we take curryleaves regularly we can avoid
grey-hairs,and get black,long-hair.it is also rich and attractive green  color.
Ingredients

Curryleaves     -250 gms
orad dhall-       -25 gms(5tsp)
bengal gram     -25 gms
sesame(white prefered) -10 gms
asafotida                    -1/4 tsp
red chillies                -3 to 4
(according to size)
salt                    -2tsp

Preparation

First wash the curry leaves,dry it in shadow for two days.
fry in a empty pan,or spread over a cloth or paper napkin in a
micro-wave oven for 2,3 mins separatly.100% moisture should be removed to avoid fungus.
fry  all the other items till flavour comes(light- brown colour)
powder both separetly,then mix well.
store it in a sterilised bottle,in a fridge.
when you mix with boiled rice can tempering with mustard seeds,ground-nuts also.
this is the best "Diet powder"  to recover from after delivery, nursing and sick periods.
