COCONUT CHUTNEY

INGREDIENTS
  1. GRATED COCONUT -----1 CUP
  2. FRIED GRAM ----2 TSP
  3. GREEN CHILLI ---2 NO'
  4. TAMARIND JUICE ---- 2 TSP
  5. LEMON JUICE ------2 TSP
  6. OIL --2 TSP
    SALT TO TASTE. FOR TEMPERING
  7. MUSTERD SEEDS----1 TSP
  8. CURRY LEAVES -----1 STRING
  9. ASAFOETIDA------2 PINCH.



PREPARATION

HEAT OIL,ADD MUSTERD SEEDS,CURRY LEAVES ,ASAFOETIDA.KEEP ASIDE
GRIND COCONUT,FRIED GRAM,GREEN CHILLI, AND SALT NICELY.
ADD TEMPERED ITEMS,AND TAMARIND JUICE. MIX WELL.SERVE.
GARNISH WITH CORIANDER LEAVES. METHOD---2 TAKE 2 SPOON URAD DHALL,4 RED CHILLIES,SMALL PIECE ASAFOETIDA,1 CUP
GRATED COCONUT,SALT.FRY WITH LITTLE OIL,TILL GOLDEN COLOUR,GRIND COARSELY, (OPTION)WITH
LITTLE WATER.THIS TYPE OF CHUTNEY(OR POWDER)WE CAN MIX WITH
RICE.IT IS A TRADITIONAL SOUTH-INDIAN DISH.
