MINT CHUTNEY


MINT CHUTNEY

INGREDIENTS
  1. MINT LEAVES ---1 CUP
  2. GRATED COCONUT -----1/2 CUP (OR)
    GROUND-NUT(OPTIONAL)
  3. TAMARIND. ----1 CHERRY SIZE
  4. ONION, CORIANDER LEAVES ----EACH 2 TSP
    OPTIONAL.
  5. GREEN CHILLY ----2-3 NOS
  6. SALT' TO TASTE.
  7. OIL ----1 TSP
  8. MUSTERD SEEDS ----1 TSP
  9. ASAFOETIDA ----2 PINCH


PREPARATION

WASH AND CLEAN MINT LEAVES, GRATE COCONUT AND KEEP ASIDE.HEAT OIL FRY MINT AND ONION AND CHILLIES.
LET IT COOL AND ADD GRATED COCONUT,CORIANDER LEAVES,SALT GRIND WELL IN THE MIXIE.
HEAT OIL,ADD MUSTARD SEEDS,ASAFOETIDA .
MIX WELL WITH GRINDED CHUTNEY . THIS IS IN RICH GREEN-COLOUR,WELL-FLAVOURED.
INSTEAD OF CARROT,WE MAY ADD CHOPPED MANGOS.

GARNISH WITH CHOPPED CORIANDER.
