Puttu

Take one cup ragi powder,springle hot water with light salt steam cook for 5 mins(for steam cook you may use
idli plates, or make a powder bag and steam it)
spread over the plate,cool it.
mix brown sugar,white sugar with cardamon for sweet puttu.
For hot(kara puttu)heat oil   add mustard seeds,orad dhal,green or red chillies,chopped onions,garlic,
curryleaves,asafotida
mix with the steamed ragi powder.
ragi is rich in calcium,
this is best morning and evening tiffin for DIABATIC AND CHILDREN
